What is this car part? Any ideas- I found it unconnected on top of my engine!?
I just posted on here a little while ago but didn't have pictures readily available... So does anyone know what this part is? I have a 1999 subaru legacy, automatic... it says "unisia jecs" on the circular part...

WOW. About two-three months ago, I got the knock sensor replaced... I guess this is the old one?? crazy!
