Recommendations for a good 1:10 off-road hobby-grade buggy
I am having an issue deciding on which new RTR/kit to purchase -- Team Associated RC10B4, Kyosho Lazer ZX-5, and Losi XXX (-CR or -4?)
I currently own a Losi Speed-T, which I am happy with but I do not want to modify my set-up each time I go from on-road racing to off-road fun/bashing.
To mix things up a bit, I am also looking at a used but well-taken care of Losi XXX-T Novak brushless RTR for $250. The only thing I am discouraged about is investing a truck that is very similar to my current set-up. But it does include a good radio set-up, mods, and additional batteries.
Better to buy a new buggy or should I go with the used XXX-T? It is getting late and I am getting tired and this is probably getting garbled, so any input, preferably from owners of any of the vehicles would be appreciated.
I would go with the kyosho lazer. I have heard alot of good remarks from people at my hobby shop who own them. There are also alot of hop-ups for the lazer. I own a Kyosho, and the cars are very durable and the parts are finished well. if you got the kyosho you might want to up grade its motor, its only a 20 turn, so its not going to go as fast as the losi xxx. I would go with the kyosho and purchase a faster motor. You will enjoy it more
